Right, I've had to put all my plans on the back-burner. There were a few ideas floating around in my head that I was in the process of organising, and which I would then write on here. But I've been uncharacteristically busy recently, and simply haven't had the time. For the past few weeks, I've been rehearsing with Our Lady's Amateur Operatic Society to put on the mid-year show in April, and I've been working like the clappers to get my music written up in time for the first performance, which was yesterday. And I'd only managed to write up the first act. It's only the bass part - not the whole score, or anything like that - so I can simply look over Fr. Dearman's shoulder (Fr. Dearman is the musical director and pianist), and play the bass line of his piano music. But, it's better and more professional to have your own music in front of you, and so I've been on "Sibelius 2.exe" none-stop (except for eating, sleeping, and rehearsing - and now for writing this article) trying to get it done in time.

Well, we had our first performance last night, and it seemed to go pretty well. Although, it could have gone a lot better. I even noticed a mistake in my music (it's not too major - just a single note was incorrect. But when you're playing the bass, and setting the chord and tonality for the piece, you ought to get it right); I say, the mistake I made, I will just correct by writing in the necessary note by hand, instead of my usual method of printing out the whole page again.

But I must go. I woke up later than usual today, and needed to bath myself, and so I haven't even opened "Sibelius 2.exe" yet! God, at least the weather's warm. I can concentrate.
