... at length this week's WoW as is my wont, for I have only two days left to me to describe Jean-Jacques Rousseau's ideas regarding social order and the general will, and the formal and pictorial devices employed by Jacques-Louis David to explore the conflict between duty to the family and duty to the state in his Lictors Returning to Brutus the Bodies of his Sons, and I'm still near the beginning of the first part, with plenty of describing to do.
