Autechre's Exai
Apologies for the "interesting development" promised last week not yet seeing the light of day. There has been a slight delay but all is expected to be complete tomorrow. However, a separate interesting development occurred in the past week: Autechre's forthcoming record Exai has been released early in digital format. It is a two-hour long behemoth of a release so will take some time to fully process, but first impressions indicate that this could be Sean and Rob's magnum opus.

In the meantime, while all this juicy music is being processed, let us turn our attention to Countdown. Today's game saw Tom Rowell (Series 63 finalist) and Jonathan Rawlinson (Series 66 runner-up) competing for a place in the quarter-finals of this 68th Series. As is my wont on a Monday I played along and here give you my scorecard followed by the usual word game rules and round-up of last week's entry from our Tearose, a remarkable and inspiring piece on overcoming fear and delighting in ones old adversaries.
